With 78.6% market share, British American Tobacco (BAT) is the largest tobacco company in Nigeria, with operations dating back to 1912.
Other players in Nigeria include Japan Tobacco Incorporated, with a market share of 14.6%, Korea Tobacco & Ginseng Corporation, with a market share of 3.7%, and Philip Morris International Limited, with a share of 1.8%.
